for walking, jogging, sunbathing, horse riding
and kite or windsurfing. The town beaches
of Ponta
do Santo Cristo,
Cardeiro,
Xepa
and Maceio
are only a step away from the pousadas, restaurants and bars. You
can also arrange a magnificent ocean front buggy
trip to the more remote beaches of Gostoso - Tourinhos
and Praia

News
It
is oficial! On January 07th 2012 the community got together on an
event to mark the first day of no vehicle driving on the beach.
Participants were bringing awareness to locals and visitants about
the danger of driving on the beach. It will only be on special occasions
that the Local authorities will allow vehicles to drive along the
prohibited area. The closed area is from Ponta do Santo Cristo down
to Maceió beach. For more information contact the Local Authorities

Sao
Miguel do Gostoso, recently hosted an exhibition
of the documentary 'The Film, Sao Miguel do Gostoso' which reflects
on the history of Sao Miguel do Gostoso as well as showing Sao Miguel
do Gostoso as it is today. The film which was exhibited in the center
of town, Pria da Xepa, was watched by the film producers themselves,
the local community and many guests that had come to Sao Miguel
do Gostoso to specifically see the film being shown. Take a look

luxury
resort is soon to be released in the municipality of Touros, Rio
Grande do Norte, only a couple of km from the beaches of Sao
Miguel do Gostoso. With investment from a millionaire and a high
standard of service, the complex will have 366 units comprising

Due
to a community work, on May 25th, approximately 150 marine turtles
were released in their new home, the Atlantic Ocean. The event took
place at Xêpa beach in the center of Sao Miguel do Gostoso,
RN.
Rally Cross Country: RN 1500 will have nearly 500km
of timed sections. New route
totaling 60% of the route in 2011. As
part of the
Brazilian championship,this
stage promises new
challenges for cars, motorcycles and quads. The competition will take place between
the days 13-17 April, only 486 kilometers will
be timed - so-called "special"speed. For more
