THE POUSADA

Pousada dos Ponteiros is the most charming guesthouse in Sao Miguel do Gostoso. Its chalets, on the beach front, are part of a beautiful garden decorated with typical northeastern trees and flowers. All of its chalets have king-size beds, air-conditioning, television and fridge and are decorated with local embroidery and arts and crafts. The guesthouse has two swimming pools – one for adults and one for children, a restaurant, shop, parking, a games room and a library with hundreds of books that can be enjoyed by guests and staff alike. All at Pousada dos Ponteiros has a touch of charm. Its chalets and all of the signs in the guesthouse are painted with four strong colours – blue, red, yellow and green. one of the main characteristics of regular northeastern houses. At the front of the guesthouse, on the beach side, is a raised deck with sunbeds that have a beautiful view of the sunrise and sunset as well as a wide view of the dunes and a view of the entire beach of Sao Miguel do Gostoso. At full moon the view is even more catching. The deck can be used for romantic dinners illuminated by candles or torch. Another enticing point of Pousada dos Ponteiros is its mini-Spa. It is situated in the beautiful garden – there you can relax having indian massage such as ayurvédicas or ofurô.
