THE POUSADA

The Pousada Porto do Trapiá is pioneering a new form of accommodation in São Miguel do Gostoso. Since its opening, in July 2007,  the pousada has been working as a flat hotel – its chalets have TV, fridge, stove and some other domestic utensils to make you feel at home.  At Porto do Trapiá, the guest can opt for a simple overnight stay,  for longer stays, or for holidays, always with differentiated tarifs. Charming, surrounded by a beautiful garden, Porto do Trapiá is located at Maceió beach, one of the most visited places in São Miguel do Gostoso, with the best bars, cafés, restaurants and guesthouses of the town.  Part of the same group as Pousada dos Ponteiros, also located at Maceió beach, Porto do Trapiá has chalets, all with seaview, internally decorated with strong colours with the natural brick work showing - one of the most popular housing charactoristics of the Brazilian Northeast. The chalets repeat the strong colour of its garden which has a great variety of trees, flowers and fruits. The raised deck, at the front of the pousada,  is privileged to have one of the most attractive views of São Miguel do Gostoso, especially at sunrise and sunset.  The pousada is located near to the dunes and, as in other beaches of the town, is surrounded by gigantic coconut tress – the main mark of São Miguel do Gostoso.
