Restaurante Balica is one of the main attractions of Pousada dos Ponteiros. On the beachfront and open to the general public, restaurant Balica offers contempory cuisine specialising in seafood dishes. For starters you can enjoy a green salad topped with prawns and mango - order Tropicália 1 or Tropicália 2 to experience the richeness of this local cuisine. A stewed pot prepared with prawns and good for three is one of the main courses -- you shouldn't miss this delicacy. Octopus rice, with ingredients only know by the chef Isais, is another attraction of the restaurant. The typical northeastern dishes, which have sundried meat as a base, are also much appreciated by the tourist.
